Bandana Sons is a rock band from Toronto, Georgina, and Midland, blending raw energy with themes of love, loss, and time. The trio includes John Shipley (vocals, rhythm guitar, bass), Adam Ford (drums, executive producer), and Jordan Cattonar (lead guitar, producer). Their collaboration with Ryan McVey of the indie label McVey Music led to the release of their first singles, Wish It Back and This Minute, on a 7-inch vinyl. These tracks gained underground traction and are available at Now and Then Records, Chase the Glory Records (Oshawa), Another Spin Records (Oshawa and Whitby), Brian's Record Option (Kingston), EastEnd Electric Records (Fenelon Falls), Connors Music (Keswick), and Sam the Record Man via Discogs. The band has been featured on major FM stations, including 94.9 The Rock FM(highlighting This Minute and While We’re Here), 91X FM (showcasing Wish It Back as Indie Artist of the Day), 104.1 CHY FM in Australia (sharing This Minute), and CKCU 93.1 FM in Canada. Their latest single, Waking Up, explores rediscovery and resilience, marking another strong chapter. Additionally, While We’re Here and This Minute were named Crowd Favorites on ReverbNation, further expanding their reach among global independent-music audiences.
